Jazzvox House Concerts
Tacoma, WA
History
JazzVox is a house-concert series focused on jazz singers, started in 2008 by Nich Anderson with Andy and Patti Carr after Anderson heard Nancy King and John Stowell in a living room. Shows are in private homes around the Seattle–Tacoma area; Tacoma dates are sold as “JazzVox Tacoma (Various Locations),” with the street address sent after purchase. A November 14, 2026 Tacoma house concert billed Kate Kortum with Joel Wenhardt. The series asks ages 14 and up (JazzTimes; jazzvox.com FAQ; Eventbrite).
