History

Jazzbones, 2803 6th Ave., sits in a wood-frame building South Sound Talk traces to about 1900 (Roice Pharmacy, later Shakey’s Pizza). It became the music club Jazzbones at the Victory in 2000. Bartender Rachel Hogan’s Old Victory Corp. bought it in 2017; she sold the property in January 2025 to an LLC tied to Keanu Songcuan, and Hogan stayed on. Setlist.fm lists capacity context as a Sixth Avenue club open since 2000. Diles que no me maten are booked there in late October 2026 (South Sound Talk; Tacoma News Tribune, Jan. 28, 2025; Songkick).
