History

The Iron Horse Music Hall is in Northampton, Massachusetts, not the city of Springfield. It opened February 24, 1979, at 20 Center Street as a 60-seat coffeehouse started by Jordi Herold and John Riley, and later grew to about 300 seats. It closed in March 2020 and reopened May 15, 2024, under the nonprofit Parlor Room Collective led by Chris Freeman.
