History
House of Blues Dallas opened in the historic White Swan Building at 2200 N. Lamar Street, where Victory Park meets the West End. The three-story brick warehouse, built in 1913 for White Swan Foods, was remodeled by Hillwood and opened with an Erykah Badu concert on May 8, 2007; Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi headlined the official grand opening on May 12. The Live Nation club’s Music Hall holds roughly 1,600 to 1,750 and books rock, pop, country, hip-hop, blues, and other touring shows, with a Southern restaurant and smaller stages in the same building.
