9th St. Parallel at Knitting Factory

History

The 9th St. Parallel is the small room attached to, but separate from, Knitting Factory Boise at 416 S. 9th Street. Eventective describes it as a downtown DIY and all-ages space with seating for about 52–76 and standing room near 200. The Idaho Statesman reported in November 2018 that this upstairs room reopened in October 2018 after a fire damaged the main Knit. Songkick and Concert Addicts list Smile Empty Soul with Revis there on October 14, 2026. The building’s concert history goes back to the Big Easy, which LocalWiki says Bravo Entertainment opened in 2000 before the Knitting Factory name.
