History

Roadrunner is a 3,500-capacity general-admission concert hall at 89 Guest Street in Boston’s Brighton neighborhood, beside Boston Landing station. Construction began on April 1, 2019, and after pandemic delays the venue opened on March 15, 2022, with a Billy Strings concert. Named for Jonathan Richman’s song “Roadrunner,” the 50,000-square-foot room has a roughly 60-foot-wide stage and is the largest indoor general-admission concert venue in New England. It is operated by The Bowery Presents, part of AEG.
