Midrift

Bio

Midrift is a shoegaze and alternative-rock trio from Marin County, California: brothers Manoa and Kai Neukermans and vocalist Gus Mehrkam. Discogs and the San Francisco Chronicle’s coverage of their 2025 Outside Lands set describe a band that started as Mehrkam’s solo project, recorded guitars and vocals in a bedroom, and played its first show at Bottom of the Hill in 2023. They released a self-titled EP and later singles and a 2026 album, Silhouette.
