History
FireKeepers Casino Hotel is at 11177 East Michigan Avenue in Emmett Charter Township, between Battle Creek and Marshall, and is owned by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi. Construction started May 7, 2008, and the casino opened August 5, 2009. A hotel tower opened in December 2012; the tribe bought out the Full House Resorts management contract in May 2012 for $97.5 million. The gaming floor is about 107,000 square feet.
