History
Grewal Hall at 224 is the concert and events hall at 224 S. Washington Square in downtown Lansing, in a 1926 building on a site that once held a late-1800s granary. The long-vacant space, which had been a department store, a disco, a hookah lounge, and a gay club, reopened in October 2023 with the steel trusses left exposed. Standing capacity is 900, over about 6,000 square feet; theater seating is about 400. The Verve Pipe played the opening.
