Snuffed

Bio

Snuffed is a Chicago hardcore band. Discogs lists the members as Aaron Schmitt, Joe Brandenburger, Karly De Sota, and Ryan Ristucci, with the 2018 EP Mind’s Eye, the 2019 single “Skincrawler,” the 2022 album Coping Human Waste, and the 2024 EP Lobotomy Dream. No Echo’s premiere of the title track called them part of the city’s newer hardcore wave and noted Another City Records, whose owner Shawn Hopman said Lobotomy Dream was among his favorite releases. Spotify’s own blurb simply reads “CHICAGO HARDCORE PUNK,” and the band has a Cobra Lounge date in Chicago.
