Bio

Northern Lights is a Chicago five-piece that, according to the matching biographies on First Avenue and Spotify, started playing together in 2024. Their first show had about 20 people, and over the next year they played five shows around Chicago while shaping the live band they wanted to become. In September 2025 they opened for Red Leather at Beat Kitchen. In 2026 they released “Nonstop” and “Think of 2,” joined Red Leather on dates of the TAHOE World Tour, and were finishing an album titled JUNE. The same bio calls them Midwest-rooted, Chicago-based, and still building the band one show at a time, with heavy guitars, melody, and groove.
