Drona

Bio

Drona is the Columbia indie-rock band of siblings Arjuna, Surya, and Pasha Raghu. The band’s press kit says the three write, record, and produce their own songs, drawing on math rock, shoegaze, bedroom pop, black metal, jazz, and 1990s indie rock, and that since a 2021 debut they have released four LPs, four EPs, and eleven singles. The same kit lists Columbia shows at Rose Music Hall, Cafe Berlin, ZipperFest, KCOU events, and the True/False Film Festival, plus opening slots for Slow Joy and El Ten Eleven. Vox Magazine (March 1, 2023) reported the album keen eyes with a grim smile, released January 27, 2023.
