Bio

Amira Jazeera is a queer Palestinian-American pop singer, songwriter, and producer based in Chicago. Block Club Chicago reported in 2024 that she had moved to the city six years earlier, that her mother was born and raised in Chicago, and that her father was born in Palestine; she writes bright 2000s-style pop and R&B threaded with the Arabic music she heard at home. The Chicago Reader later profiled her bedroom-produced debut album, The Amira Diaries, released in April 2025 with the independent label Levantine Music, and noted benefit shows tied to relief work. She has played Chicago rooms including Burlington Bar.
