History
The Shaskeen Pub and Restaurant, 909 Elm Street, Manchester, New Hampshire, opened in November 2005. It was created by traditional Irish musician and pub owner Tommy McCarthy and Chieftains flautist Matt Molloy, in the line of pubs that includes the Burren, the Skellig, and Matt Molloy’s. Later owners Josh Ames, Jim Pliakos, Neal Brown, and Michael Graton kept the Irish pub and added a live-music room. Songkick lists Closed Course there on February 20, 2026, and fun city fan club on March 7, 2026. Sources: do617 venue page; Songkick gigography.
