Wendy Williamson Auditorium

3211 Providence Dr, Anchorage, AK, 99511
History
Wendy Williamson Auditorium is on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus at 2533 Providence Drive. In 1975 an addition to the Professional Studies Building was built as a performing-arts space; that room is now the Wendy Williamson Auditorium, with 910 seats (401 in a mid-house configuration). It is named for John Wendell “Wendy” Williamson, born March 1923 in Chehalis, Washington, a music professor at Anchorage Community College and UAA from 1971 until he died in June 1988.
