History
The Beaumont Enterprise reported in January 2024 that Texas Rose Saloon has done business for almost 50 years at 2013 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, that it is a recognized historical landmark, and that the building was originally the home of bandleader Harry James. Co-owners Barbara Barker, Angela Malatesta, and Bobby Malatesta upgraded it from a beer-and-wine bar to a full bar with a concert sound system. The paper said karaoke stays on Wednesdays and live music runs Thursday through Saturday.
