History
TD Pavilion at the Mann is the covered amphitheater on the Highmark Mann campus in West Fairmount Park. The Mann opened June 14, 1976, as Robin Hood Dell West, the Philadelphia Orchestra’s new summer home, and was renamed for businessman and patron Fredric R. Mann in 1979. A renovation ahead of the 2019 season added about 4,500 covered seats, LED screens, and a TD Bank naming deal for the pavilion. The city-owned campus still presents the Orchestra along with pop, rock, and outdoor shows, with the pavilion holding up to about 13,000.
