McDonald Theatre

History

1010 Willamette Street. Planned as the Lowell Theater, it opened May 7, 1925 and was renamed that week for owner Aaron Harding McDonald, who had died on March 26, 1925, just before opening. It is on the National Register. Kesey Enterprises began concerts there in 2001 and bought the building in 2009.
