History
The Shakedown is a live-music bar at 1212 N. State Street in Bellingham. Its own about page says it opened in 2011. Owner Hollie Huthman told My Bellingham Now in August 2025 that she and her partner opened the day before St. Patrick’s Day in 2011, after years of planning the room while she worked a desk job, and that a door connects it to the pinball bar The Racket. The venue books alternative shows from metal and doom to folk-punk.
