History
Architect Christopher "Mac" Macleod opened The Corner at 1035 North Miami Avenue, in a rundown building at Miami Avenue and 11th Street, as a dark, welcoming neighborhood bar in the spirit of New Orleans. The Downtown Miami room marked a seventh birthday in December 2018. It books late-night vinyl DJ sets across hip-hop, funk, house, cumbia, and reggaeton, plus jazz sessions and themed nights.
