Beach House

Bio

Beach House is a dream-pop band formed in Baltimore in 2004 by Victoria Legrand, who sings and plays keyboards, and Alex Scally, who plays guitar and keyboards. They recorded their hazy 2006 debut in a basement and then moved through Devotion (2008) to the bigger, polished records Teen Dream (2010) and Bloom (2012). Later albums such as 7 (2018) and Once Twice Melody (2022) widened the sound with electronics and strings. Drummer James Barone, who had toured with them since 2016, became an official member in 2022. They still perform as Beach House, with a site at beachhousebaltimore.com.
