Tough Old Bird

Bio

Tough Old Bird is the folk project of brothers Matthew and Nathan Corrigan, who told NYS Music they grew up in Fillmore, New York, and who that 2024 interview described as based in Buffalo. Rochester City Magazine calls them an Americana band on the edge of the Finger Lakes folk scene that plays Rochester periodically, and it reviewed Garden Dream as their fifth collection since 2016. NYS Music says Garden Dream, recorded at Sunwood Studios in Trumansburg, added drummer Ricky Bechard and bassist Brendan O'Shea. The brothers said the record looks back on a rural childhood from adulthood.
