Skysia

Bio

Skysia is the project of Tanner Allen, a self-taught pianist, filmmaker, and producer. His own bio says the music fuses melodic bass, chill-step, and modern downtempo, and that he was formerly based in Southern California before living in a converted mini-school bus with a mobile studio; his current pages list Denver. Before working the West Coast scene he studied production at Point Blank Music School in London, and in 2019 he released the debut EP Motion on Jumpsuit Records, with later music on Gravitas Recordings and High Vibe Records. He plays Boston’s Brighton Music Hall on the Desert Dwellers bill.
