Mikee Strongmen

Bio

Mikee Strongmen is a singer-songwriter originally from Kansas City, Missouri, who now lives in Forestville, New York, and plays Buffalo rooms including Nietzsche’s. His site describes soul-driven folk songs that feel old and dusty, with what he calls a rambunctious slap of maniacal wingnuttery, like Woody Guthrie possessed by Tiny Tim. He says he has toured the United States and Europe and has been performing these songs for 17 years. He also reports nine LPs, three EPs, and collaborations with other musicians on stage and in the studio.
