Bio

Kennedy Ryon is an independent R&B and soul singer who grew up in Columbus, Georgia, and later worked from Atlanta. She describes her music as a mix of R&B, neo-soul, pop, and hip-hop, and widely played songs include "Ego" and "Baby Mama Drama." She has headlined on the strength of her own releases, including the album project Can I Evolve?, without a label. The Can We Evolve? tour has played rooms such as 7th St Entry in Minneapolis, Kings in Raleigh, and City Winery. A feature interview traces the move to Atlanta back to leaving Columbus to pursue music.
