Celtic Sessions is the weekly traditional-music afternoon at Nietzsche’s, 248 Allen Street in Buffalo. The venue calls it Buffalo’s longest-running Celtic session and schedules it every Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the front room with no cover. Nietzsche’s describes the afternoon as Celtic music, poems, and history, and says the series is supported by the Amherst Gaelic League. It is a session rather than a fixed touring band, so the people playing change from week to week.
