History
The Eastern is a purpose-built music hall in Atlanta’s Reynoldstown neighborhood, inside the Atlanta Dairies complex. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that it opened on September 1, 2021, with a show by Big Boi. Mix magazine describes a roughly 2,300-capacity, multi-tier room built from the ground up by Zero Mile Presents and AEG Presents for about $17 million, on the site of a dairy co-op that ran from 1945 until the early 2000s. AXS lists the address as 800 Old Flat Shoals Road and notes an indoor hall plus a rooftop.
