Willy Street · 852 Williamson St, Madison, WI
Bill “Tiny” Alexander bought the Williamson Street bar in 1989 and ran it until his death in 2015; his wife, Holly Alexander, later owned it. Long called the Willy Street Pub & Grill, it officially took the nickname everybody already used, The Wisco. The East Side dive is known for cheap pool, burgers made with meat from the nearby Jenifer Street Market, and a sand-volleyball league played on courts beside the bar.
