    The Local Public House

Downtown · 1427 Railroad Ave, Bellingham, WA

Ben Buccarelli, Tom Raden, and Brandon Peterson opened The Local Public House in October 2013 at 1427 Railroad Avenue, in the former Cicchitti’s Pizza storefront, as the downtown taproom for their Menace Brewing. The pair of brewers had been making small-batch beer since about 2011 and rebuilt the room themselves. The pub poured only Cascadia beers—no big-distributor taps—and served a full menu, later adding The Annex next door with more taps, pool, and darts.
