The Cat's Eye Pub
Fells Point · 1730 Thames St, Baltimore, MD
The Cat's Eye Pub opened in the spring of 1975 at 1730 Thames Street in Fells Point, started by Kenny Orye and Tony Cushing in a circa-1810 rowhouse. It has booked live blues, rock, rockabilly, and jazz most nights since, usually with little or no cover. After Orye died in 1987 the Cushing family bought the building rather than let it become a tearoom, and Tony Cushing Jr. kept the room the same after his father died in 2008.
