My Morning Jacket

Bio

My Morning Jacket is a Louisville rock band started in 1998 by Jim James, born James Edward Olliges Jr. The band's Bandcamp page lists James with bassist Tom Blankenship, drummer Patrick Hallahan, keyboardist Bo Koster, and guitarist Carl Broemel. It Still Moves (2003) and Z (2005) pushed the group past its early reverb-heavy records, and the shows are known for running long. They have played big outdoor sets, including Bonnaroo, and rooms such as the Wiltern and the Fillmore.
