Bio

Cousin Stizz is the stage name of Stephen Goss, a rapper and songwriter from Boston's Dorchester neighborhood. A childhood friend gave him the nickname, and he first drew a wide audience with the 2015 mixtape Suffolk County and the single "Shoutout." He followed with MONDA in 2016, signed to RCA, and released One Night Only in 2017 and Trying to Find My Next Thrill in 2019. In 2018 he became the first hip-hop act named Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards. He later launched the Commonwealth Festival at Boston City Hall Plaza to put local hip-hop on a big free stage.
